Maroon 5
Kelly Clarkson

Artists of all levels need biographies.  From press releases to simple blurbs to fill space, a short and sweet artist bio is always needed.

She’s young, beautiful, relevant, and has somehow already secured her status as an icon.  With 5 studio albums in her catalogue, she’s sold over 20 million albums worldwide in her ten year career.

Kelly has never been a stranger to television and has also recently appeared as a mentor on ABC’s Duets and a guest mentor on NBC’s The Voice.  With 3 Grammy Awards, 4 American Music Awards, 3 MTV Video Music Awards, 2 Academy of Country Music Awards, 1 Country Music Association Award and 12 Billboard Music Awards she’s consistently been able to win over audiences with her talent and drive.  Her greatest hits album Greatest Hits—Chapter 1 featured some of her best songs as well as three brand new tracks like her current single “People Like Us.”

Adam Levine on Kelly Clarkson:

“Kelly Clarkson's amazing and we are so - we've been wanting to tour with her for a long time, I think it's uh, finally happening which is great, we think she's unbelievably talented.  We love her, we know her really well.  Uh, it's just a great pairing,  I think people are going to love the show.”

They’ve defined music for the past decade and hijacked the radio waves with songs that everyone in the entire world has heard.  They found each other in high school hallways and managed to take that passion and talent to stages all across the globe.  And now they are headlining the 2013 Honda Civic Tour.

Maroon 5 won the Grammy Award for “Best New Artist” in 2005 and in the years since they’ve consistently proven why.  They’ve pushed more than 17 million albums worldwide, and won two more Grammys doing it.  With their four studio albums Songs About Jane, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, Hands All Over, and Overexposed they’ve grown musically and finally feel like their live show is at it’s best.

James Valentine:

“Yeah, we've uh, throughout our entire career we've experienced a lot of ups and downs and it definitely feels like we're at one of the ups.  And being on tour we've been able to see that all over the world, so that's why I think we're really stoked for the Honda Civic Tour 'cause I think it's gonna be sort of the Apex of us going out and feeling that energy and that love.  I can sincerely say that the Honda Civic Tour is going to be the best Maroon 5 tour ever.”

From the moment he hit the stage of NBC’s hit series The Voice, Tony Lucca has claimed a spot in people’s hearts… and iPods.   After being coached on the show by Adam Levine himself, he climbed the iTunes charts with his cover of Hugo’s version of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems.”

His role in the 2013 Honda Civic Tour is definitely an example of the closeness of all of these musicians.  With his music being featured  on TV’s Friday Night Lights, Brothers & Sisters, Shark, and Felicity, he’s demonstrated his talent and ability to craft beautiful music.  Watch out for Tony Lucca’s new album later this year on Adam Levine’s 222 Records.

Adam Levine on Tony Lucca:

“Tony Lucca is also on our label, and he's amazing. I can't wait for everyone to see what he does.”

From the soil of New Orleans he was grown.  A revolutionary and soulful musician, PJ Morton is about to explode onto the scene.

After years of releasing indie mixtapes and albums, PJ was asked to audition as a keyboardist for Maroon 5, and his talent earned him the spot.

His talent also earned him the respect of Young Money Entertainment, headed by Lil Wayne, who put out PJ Morton’s debut album New Orleans on May 14, 2013.

It’s safe to say you’ll be hearing this dude a lot more often from now on.
